Beat the Heat with Frozen Yogurt Cups
These two-ingredient frozen yogurt cups are a simple and impressive treat to serve guests or kids in the sweltering summertime. The best part? They’re as easy to prepare as they are to eat — at home or on the go. Better yet, since they’re frozen, they’re great for making ahead of time and keep in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
While our Silicone Baking Cups are designed to fit into muffin pans, we discovered they’re also perfect molds for frozen yogurt cups.
1 cup plain yogurt (you can use flavored yogurt for a twist)
1¼ cup chopped assorted fruits (we used strawberries, blueberries and blackberries)
- On a baking sheet lay out 12 silicone muffin cups. Scoop yogurt into each cup.
- Place a few pieces of fruit into each cup, pressing them down into the yogurt. Place the tray of cups into the freezer and freeze until the yogurt is firm
- Once frozen, pop out the cups and serve or place into an airtight container or plastic bag and store in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
